Inspiration

Who doesn't love music? But not everyone can afford physical musical instruments, that's where Virtual Music comes in!

What it does

It lets you play any musical instruments by just moving your fingers in front of a camera

How we built it

We built it using python. The user interface is made using Kivy, a python framework for GUI.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge was to come up with an idea that should allow mapping of the hand detection with the instruments you want to play

What's next for Virtual Music

Our initial plan was to add a feature that'll allow you to collab with your friends and create music by playing it together in real-time but couldn't achieve it in this 36h so that's next for Virtual Music
