Virtual mouse and Keyboard

Inspiration

I was inspired to do this project by watching a movie where people use their fingers and hand gestures to handle the cursor and keyboard. I also thought this project is important now because of the Covid-19 spread. Since the system users need not to touch any devices for using the system , many users can safely use the same system without worrying about the Covid-19 spread. Also we don't have to spend money in buying these extra devices.

What it does

This poject creates a virtual mouse and a virtual keyboard that can be used without using any mouse or keyboard . The users can just use their fingers and hands to do operations like a mouse and a keyboard does.

How we built it

I built with artificial intelligence using python language. I thought it would work more precisely if I use machine learning in it.

Challenges we ran into

It was hard to make this project work more precisely.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I was able to complete the code successfully. Even though it was not more precise I was able to reach a satisfied point so that it can be opted for using. I developed this during the hackathon.

What we learned

I am new to artificial intelligence and machine learning. I learnt artificial intelligence for this project. Since I am a newbie I couldn't completely master the AI but still I was able develop my project successfully with the learning I got.

What's next for Virtual mouse and Keyboard

The virtual mouse and keyboard has to be improved to work more precisely. Only one person's hands should control the keyboard and mouse at a time and that person should be the current user of the system. So it has to be improvised in that part.
