What it does
We used the SSVEP paradigm to detect when users were looking at a specific flashing object onscreen.
How I built it
Challenges I ran into
- Refresh rate of screen prevented us from using exact frequency
- Not enough specs for VR
- OpenBCI connection to Unity
- Fast fourier transform insufficient to detect SSVEP, made me pretty miserable
- Apparently fatigue increases alpha brainwaves
