Virtual Merchant

Inspiration

The possibility of driving around any neighborhood and be able to purchase various things that you need. Sort of like turning a mundane street into a virtual garage sale.

What it does

Allows users to locate nearby Virtual Stores (within Wi-fi range), browse its wares, contact the merchant to purchase or trade for an item that he/she wants. It will also have the option of only showing the store on the application if the user has the correct access key. Virtual Store owners will also have the ability to customize their visibility.

Techcrunch Disrupt NYC 2016 goals

1. Create a mobile application that can detect, select, and list the fictional items of a nearby user.
2. Implement a setting menu that will allow the Virtual Store owner to customize their store visibility (or limit it to only users who has the stores access code).
