Millions of Afghan girls have been denied access to formal education, especially at the secondary level. This project was inspired by the urgent need to provide a safe, reliable, and accessible digital way for them to continue learning despite systemic restrictions. What it Does The Virtual High School Management System is an online education platform for Afghan girls in Grades 10–12. It offers: Live online classes Recorded lessons Downloadable learning materials Online exams and assessments Academic progress tracking Secure, role-based portals exist for students, teachers, and administrators, ensuring controlled access and privacy. How We Built It We implemented a role-based architecture with separate dashboards for each user type. The platform integrates: Live streaming and recorded content Course and schedule management Exam creation and evaluation Student performance tracking Focus was placed on usability, security, and accessibility, especially for users with low-bandwidth internet or basic devices.
