Have you ever come across a moment that you feel so daunted about the muti-stops traveling planning that you miss the catchup encounters of your family, friends or the connections that could have happened?

What it does

Our MR experience helps you compare and organize time, cost, locations and destinations on a multi-leg journey in a playful way with our space shield and time sword.

How we built it

Challenges we ran into

  • Concept and User Design: algorithm design for calendar layout to visualise multiple branching scenarios
  • Hardware: technical troubles with some faulty hardware that set us back by some time
  • Collaboration and final convergence on a Unity project being continuously worked on by 5 people
  • Software: limitations in terms of hand tracking library capabilities

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • Concept and User Design: tackling a very challenging design problem, and coming up with a novel user interface for an embodied, almost physical interaction with information, that brings productivity into the world of fun
  • Data: implementing a globe visualisation that used coordinates from the identified Voice SDK entities
  • Software: integrating Meta Voice SDK to significantly improve the ease of use of the software

What's Next

We are quite excited about building this as an actual product that could become useful quite soon. More generally, we see promise in the idea of user interface in the form of physical tools that you hold in your hands.
