Ever wished for a personal doctor right in your pocket? That's exactly what inspired us to create Dr. Health AIly. We wanted to harness the power of AI to make healthcare more accessible, convenient, and personalized for everyone. With the rise of telemedicine and digital health solutions, we saw an opportunity to leverage technology to empower individuals to take control of their health.

What It Does

Dr. Health AIly is your virtual health assistant, designed to simplify the process of diagnosing symptoms, querying medicines, and accessing essential health information. From identifying diseases based on symptoms to providing insights into medication components and usage, this app aims to provide users with the knowledge and guidance they need to make informed decisions about their health.

How We Built It

We built Dr. Health AIly using Streamlit, Gemini-Pro, and Gemini-Pro-Vision, harnessing the power of these tools to create a seamless user experience. The app consists of three main pages:

The home page allows users to input symptoms and receive personalized health recommendations.
The medicine query page enables users to upload images of medicines for analysis.
The medicine information page allows users to search for specific medicines and access detailed information about them.

Challenges We Ran Into

Building Dr. Health AIly presented its fair share of challenges. Integrating AI algorithms for symptom diagnosis and medicine analysis required careful consideration and testing to ensure accuracy and reliability. Additionally, designing an intuitive user interface that caters to both tech-savvy and non-tech-savvy users posed its own set of challenges.

Accomplishments That We're Proud Of

Despite the challenges, we're proud to have developed Dr. Health AIly, a tool that has the potential to revolutionize the way people approach healthcare. Seeing the app come to life and knowing that it has the power to positively impact users' lives is incredibly rewarding.

As a solo developer, I spearheaded the entire development process of the Virtual Doctor App from conceptualization to deployment. Here's a breakdown of my contributions:

Conceptualization and Design: I conceptualized the idea for the Virtual Doctor App and defined its key functionalities and features. Drawing from my background in healthcare and technology, I outlined the app's user interface, user experience flow, and overall design aesthetics.
Development: I single-handedly developed the application using a combination of low-code tools and programming languages. I utilized Streamlit for building the web application framework and integrating user interface elements. Additionally, I implemented Gemini for natural language understanding and Gemini Pro Vision for image recognition, customizing their functionalities to suit the requirements of the app.
Coding and Implementation: I wrote the majority of the codebase, implementing core functionalities such as symptom analysis, medicine identification, and user interaction logic.
