MagicTutor

Inspiration

We are interested in exploring the use of “landscape” and “immersive” applications for the academic world. With the importance of education increasingly more and more important, using the latest technologies to arm the teachers and students with the latest tools becomes essential.

What it does

Starting first with a proof of concept, we will build out a cultural immersion experience to simulate a Spanish lesson, and a space exploration application to simulate an astronomy lesson. We will explore certain analytics tools and house that data in the user profile.

How we built it

We will use Unity, Lumin SDK, and Lumin Runtime SDK to build out the application’s components.

What's next for MagicTutor

We plan to continue building out Magic Tutor, and eventually release it for all educators worldwide. We hope to build out a pilot study to prove the applications' efficacy in educating students.
