What it does
Our app is designed to help tackle the issue of isolation and increase brain stimulation for seniors with dementia and Alzheimer's. It is a way to help stimulate seniors from the day to day living which is often mundane and monotonous in assisted living situations.
How we built it
Using Processing and Unity to quickly develop an app for this hackathon, we developed a main monitoring app with VR as a main feature of the program.
Challenges I ran into
Learning Unity and VR within a short period of time was a large challenge we faced, especially as we had difficulties publishing it to our devices in the format we needed.
