ASL virtual assistant is a software that enables a user to communicate with device through hand gesture and we have built a complete asl module of 26 english alphabets.

Inspiration

Our team's inspiration was to take deaf dumb people ahead in life so that they can compete we normal human so we have complete ASL module and ASL virtual assitant. that performs all task with hand gesture that google alexa and siri performs with voice

What it does

ASL virtual assistant performs all task with hand gesture that google alexa and siri performs with voice and ASL module can be used to create any english sentence with sign language.

How we built it

we have used python opencv and mediapipe and other python libraries and to increase the accuracy of recognition of hand gesture we have used coordinate system.

Challenges we ran into

Challenges we faced wee to increse accuracy and create everything in runtime.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of creating ASL Module that would help deaf and dumb children to learn ASL and progress in life and giving them equal facility as normal human being by creating ASL assistant

What we learned

we have learned many new python libraries and machine learning algorithms

What's next for Virtual assistant operating on hand gestures

we can create a complete app with more functionality and it could become a good revenue generating module
