virtual assistant for visually impaired

Inspiration

Firstly As we know the AI field still in early stages in Arabic language, so we supported Arabic language more in AI and to support and stand for people who have visual impairment in the Arabian World.

What it does

the project has four basic and helpful services which they will assist the user in the majority of his life activities

How we built it, we built the project firstly by creating the AI model by ourselves, comparing between the results, the choosing the model which has highest accuracy then developing all Models to prepare them to integrate with the Mobile App and with the distance sensor

Challenges we ran into

the most challenging things we've been into is the dataset, we developed datasets which is supporting the Arabic language, and then the another challenging thing is developing the models to integrate with Android

Accomplishments that we're proud of

All what we did in the project we are Fully proud of, we supported Arabic language in AI field more and we boosted the Arabian users who has visual impairment

What we learned

we learned the Dataset deals from cleaning, organizing, techniques and creating a good dataset, Also we learned how to create efficient AI models, we discovered the factors that play the main role in the efficiency of the Machine learning model, and the integration of AI with the mobile phones development field

What's next for virtual assistant for visually impaired

Our next step is to developed more in the project, create an efficient and reliable app and boost it, then create the IOS version from it
