Inspiration

We wanted to build an application that centers around women in both the med-tech and fin-tech industry. We came up with VIRA because pregnancy and trying to conceive is a crucial part for any individuals starting a family, and with the recent state of healthcare it's import for everyone to be educated and aware of their own body.

What it does

VIRA is a readiness and support application for women trying to conceive or navigating pregnancy. It integrates three core features:

Financial Readiness Hub Users can set financial goals, compare insurance and birth options, and receive a financial readiness score that reflects preparedness for parenthood.

Health & Symptom Tracking Users log symptoms and receive personalized remedies and wellness recommendations based on their input.

Adaptive Fertility & Pregnancy Calendar For conception: tracks ovulation, cycle predictions, and estimated conception timing. For pregnancy: displays fetal development, growth milestones, and pregnancy progress.

Together, these features provide a comprehensive readiness score based on financial and health factors.

How we built it

We designed VIRA as a high-fidelity interactive prototype using Figma. Our process included:

Defining core user needs and pain points
Creating user flows and wireframes
Developing a cohesive visual system using soft pink tones and cherry blossoms
Designing interactive screens for financial tracking, health monitoring, and calendar features

We focused on user experience, accessibility, and clarity to simulate a real mobile application experience
