VIP (Vacation Itinerary Planner)

Inspiration -

Today’s travel planning is fragmented and overwhelming. Travelers face a maze of options and disjointed tools, leaving them confused, frustrated, and unsure of how to optimize their time and money. Our design helps make everything more simpler.

What it does -

It generates a schedule to specific locations, based on your preferences. Also, it includes a map, and hotel list/locations list for your visit.

How we built it -

We used cursor, and used Gemini API and Google Maps API for the best experience for our VIPs.

Challenges we ran into -

Lots of the time, the file would not correctly, and we would have to spend hours trying to fix the code.

Accomplishments that we're proud of -

It generates a well selected list of cities based on the user's specific preference. Then, it gives a list of hotels/locations for your convenience.

What we learned -

We learned that using AI to create convenience websites with multiple usage options will severely shorten the time needed, allowing efficiency within the design process.

What's next for VIP (Vacation Itinerary Planner) -

We want to receive an investment, to add even more features to our VIP, like sponsors. We will also add detailed airplane times, directions and reviews of places.
