Inspiration
I came to know about hubspot through this hackathon. I went though several interesting website theme and templates on hubspot. However, for food and restaurants, I only found a couple of results. Hence I decided to create a restaurant theme.
What it does
The Hubspot theme has several pages including the home page, info, about and features. There are pages for the team, customer testimonials and price packages. This website will help invite customers to the restaurant.
How it was built
I went through the resources on CMS hub and HubSpot documentation. It was extremely helpful along with the HubSpot design builder.
Challenges we ran into
This being my first time creating a theme with HubSpot, it was definitely a challenge. I ran into several errors and issues throughout, starting from editing theme fields to understanding how modules worked in Hubspot themes.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am happy that I was able to achieve the MVP I had hoped for. Hoping this theme helps HubSpot users.
What we learned
I learned a lot about creating themes for Hubspot and inserting custom modules. I also created my first listing on the asset marketplace for my theme.
What's next for Vinayak - The Hubspot Restaurant Theme
I will work on improving this further and adding more templates and modules.
