🚀 Inspiration

We wanted to help teachers give every student a better learning experience, especially when students come with different levels of understanding. We asked what if planning lessons and engaging everyone became effortless. That sparked Vij.ai.

✨ What It Does

Vij.ai is an AI-powered teaching assistant that helps teachers create complete lesson plans in seconds. It explains concepts at multiple levels, generates analogies from Indian pop culture, and offers fun engagement ideas like comics, roleplays, and games. It also suggests Bloom’s Taxonomy-based assessments and trusted academic references, all tailored to the topic and objectives.

🛠️ How We Built It

We are two teachers passionate about making learning fun through engaging explanations and game-based thinking. Using Bolt, we quickly turned our vision into a working MVP. We shared it with real teachers, collected feedback, and refined it along the way.

😅 Challenges We Faced

Multiple iterations were scary. We constantly feared that new features might break what was already working. But feedback kept us going.

🏆 Accomplishments We’re Proud Of

We integrated with LLMs and built a clean, functional app without writing a line of traditional code. As non-techies, we are thrilled to demo our creation proudly.

📚 What We Learned

We learned that anyone with an idea can participate in a hackathon. With AI tools like Bolt, building is no longer a blocker. Imagination is the real edge.

We’re just getting started. The next step is to put Vij.ai into the hands of real teachers across colleges — not as a test, but as an assistant in their teaching journey. We’ll listen, we’ll tweak, and we’ll iterate until Vij.ai feels like second nature in every classroom.

Our goal is simple but bold — to make teachers feel powerful, prepared, and proud every time they step into class. If that means rewriting how lesson planning is done, we’re ready. vij.ai is not just an app. It’s the beginning of a quieter revolution in how we teach.
