Inspiration

Phishing and Email Message Scamming are among the top Online Security challenge that affects millions of people online.

Phishing Attack: is normally an attack perform by Hackers in an attempt to steal sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, credit card numbers etc.

This Attack is normally carried out where an attacker lured the victim into clicking a Fake/Malicious site url links eg. from an Email.

On landing on the fake site, Users sensitive data might be stolen by filling a certain form for sensitive Data.

On the other hands, Text Message Scammers Attack: is normally an attack perform by Hackers in an attempt to also steal sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, credit card numbers etc. This Attack is normally carried out where an attacker lured the victim by sending a fake text messages to trick you into given out your Sensitive Data...

Google Gemini AI and ChatGPT/OpenAI to the rescue...

What it does

Vigilant: is an Interactive System that Detects, Protects and analyze Phishing Sites, Scam Email Messages and Message Content Biasness etc.

This application is Powered by ChatGPT/OpenAI and Google Gemini AI

To Analyze any data for fraud detection , the user has to select either ChatGPT/OpenAI or Google Gemini AI for the analysis.

Application Features and Components

1.)Phishing Sites Detection: This components detects If the Site you are about to access is a phishing Site or Not and why?.

2.)Detect and Analyze Scam Email/Text Messages: This components detect If the Text Message is a Scam or Not and why?

3.)Detect and Analyze Biasness in a Text Contents: This components detect If the Text Content is Bias or Not and why?. Offer transparency and suggests fairer alternatives.

How we built it

This application was built leveraging ChatGPT/Open AI, Google Gemini AI, Mysql Database, PHP, Jquery-Ajax, Bootstraps, Javascript etc.

The Application follows best coding practises:

1.) Frontend Code is seperated fromBackend Code. Jquery/Ajax is doing most of the frontend data processing and php is main application programming language
2.) All files Directories are well structured

3.) Application form/data is properly sanitized and validated at both FrontEnd & Backend
