Inspiration
As students we find ourselves having to create several resumes and cover letters that are different for every company that we apply to. We have different projects that showcase different skillsets and sometimes its hard to fit on just one resume. This is why we created ViewMyTech.
What it does
ViewMyTech is an easily editable website that allows users to create their own tech portfolios. They can drag and drop images, change text and generate a website that can act as a resume/portfolio of all their projects.
How I built it
This was built using Vue. We took advantage of the HTML "content-editable" tag and used that to allow users to edit the website on the fly.
Challenges I ran into
Some challenges were allowing users to drag and drop images straight into the website.
What's next for ViewMyTech
We would love to incorporate more features such as a database and allow users to tick/untick content they would like to appear in their portfolio.
