Inspiration

IoT instruments is still very bad. Last two years I'm trying to find handy tools to achieve my everyday tasks, but there is nothing capable of. So, I'm building it myself.

What it does

ViewEE can display electronic board layout from Cadsoft Eagle and Kicad.

How I built it

I've found great project and hacked it to the usable state.

Challenges I ran into

There is many:

I don't like matrices or geometric equations, but for this project I need to understand how it works;
When I working on mobile version I need to rewrite renderer from Canvas to SVG to reduce lag from redraw, but every renderer have it's own advantages and I've decided to support both;
