Video to GIFs Convertor

Inspiration

The extensiveness of python and its flexibility made me use it for creating interesting and exciting animation creator.

What it does

Basically , the program i have created converts mp4 videos into GIFs . Giving you the ability to convert your favorite videos into small animations and sharing them at a much faster pace.

How I built it

I have built this convertor using Python and its libraries : imageio , imageio-ffmpeg.

Challenges I ran into

It was a pretty easy thing to make , but the logic took time to give me accurate results , also the image processing takes considerable amount of time .

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

well , it's true that we have many sources for extracting GIFs but coding one convertor exposed to the great amount of work that goes behind making such an everyday animation thing .

What I learned

During the project i was exposed to 2 new libraries of python so this added to my learning list . over all giving me a good experience.

What's next for Video to GIFs Convertor

At present it is just a program but I'm looking forward to give it a gui and creating an app will do the justice.
