Inspiration

Seeing the zooming in and out feature while a video is playing in a certain model of Sony phone back a couple of years and it's not a feature available on everyone's phone but with this, it'll be available to everybody having a smartphone. Online education has compelled people to use technology more and has put more strain on the eyes and which leads to deteriorating health. Some people can't or don't want to shift to PCs/laptops and are therefore stuck with smartphones, the students especially are bombarded with recorded sessions but sometimes they want to zoom the screen but can't because of the limitations of a phone. They'll be able to maximize whatever part of the screen they want of the video and read whatever texts they couldn't see properly before on the phone.

What it does

It lets a person zoom in and out of a playing video and also mute it.

How we built it

Using EchoAr.

Challenges we ran into

The video sometimes stops itself or the sound keeps going on when there is no video shown or the video speed is slow.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

That I'd make this.

What we learned

How to play a video by just scanning the picture associated with it.

What's next for Video-player

Making it better at recognizing the picture quickly and then starting the video. Also giving other features like pause, quality change, captions included, and speed change. I think this feature is something I think can be used more in the future and be loved by everyone.
