Inspiration
My friend went through a brutal accident after he slept behind the wheel last year. He had many injuries and traumatic stress after the injuries were healed.
What it does
So, with the Muse Headband, we decided to measure brain waves, analyze the EEG values and determine a concentration score. Since the transition between the concentration is very fast, we only get a boolean value whether it's a yes or a no. So when the concentration level's a low, you get an intimation on your Pebble Watch to drive safe. We also have an Amazon Alexa skill, which is supposed to be invoked when the user ends their rides and comes home/office. It gives them a summary of their rides and suggests future steps.
Challenges we ran into
The Headband API needed a lot of studying for useful data to be pried from all data.
