High Concept: The "Antigravity" of Industrial Automation. An agentic swarm powered by Gemini 3, Nano, and Veo that turns natural language into IEC-compliant industrial code—simulated in real-time with physics-accurate video digital twins.
Inspiration: "Vibe Coding" for the Real World
The world of Industrial Automation is stuck in the 90s. While web developers enjoy AI-accelerated workflows, industrial engineers are battling archaic, rigid PLCs. We asked: Why can't building a factory be as fluid as building a website?
We built VibIndu to be the Antigravity for the Industrial World—bringing the same advanced agentic capabilities to the factory floor that Antigravity brings to software engineering. We bridge the gap between "Vibe Coding" (high-speed, creative iteration) and "Industrial Safety" (zero-tolerance for error). It’s not just a copilot; it’s a Co-Engineer that reasons, simulates, and guarantees safety before a single motor turns.
The Breakthrough
We didn't just wrap an LLM. We built a Self-Correcting Orchestrator where Gemini 3 acts as the Architect, Nano visualizes the system architecture, and Veo generates the reality.
What We Learned
Building VibIndu taught us that orchestration is everything. An industrial specification is too complex for a single prompt. We learned to think in terms of Swarm Intelligence:
- Decomposition is Key: You can't just ask an LLM to "build a factory." You need to break it down into I/O (Inputs/Outputs), Modes of Operation (GEMMA/GSRSM), and Logic sequences.
- Streaming "Thoughts": Users need to trust the AI. By using Gemini 3's thinking process and streaming it in real-time to the UI, we turned the "black box" into a "glass box." The user sees the engineer thinking.
- Parallelism: Industrial systems are concurrent. Our AI agents needed to be concurrent too. We learned to run multiple agents in parallel to generate code for different operating modes (Production, Emergency Stop, Initialization) simultaneously.
How We Built It: Architecture & The Orchestrator
Our architecture is a modern Agentic Stack powered by Google's Agent Development Kit (ADK).
1. The Core: Gemini 3
We are proud to be one of the first industrial applications to fully leverage the power of Gemini 3.

- Thinking Process: We utilize the model's native "thinking" ability to validate safety constraints before writing a single line of code.
2. The Orchestrator: ThinkingForge
The heart of our backend is ThinkingForge, a sophisticated orchestrator built with the ADK. It doesn't just "run prompts"; it manages a team of specialized agents:

- 📐 GsrsmEngineer: Designs the GSRSM (GEMMA) modes—the standard state machine for industrial machines (Auto, Manual, Stop, Failure).

conduct.sfcthat orchestrates transitions between modes. - ⚡ ModesSFCParallel: A dynamic swarm. Once the modes are defined, this agent spins up Parallel Sub-Agents—one for each mode (e.g.,
ModeA1Agent,ModeF1Agent)—to write the sequential logic for every state concurrently. - 🧪 SimulationAgent: Validates the code by running it against a physics simulation.
3. The Tech Stack
- Frontend: React + Vite + Tailwind (Modern, responsive UI).
- Communication: WebSockets for real-time token streaming (thoughts, code, tool calls).
- Backend: Python FastAPI + Google ADK.
- Format: We store everything in GrafScript, our custom DSL for Grafcet/SFC that acts as the intermediate language between LLMs and PLCs.

We didn't just want to generate text; we wanted to generate reality. We pushed the boundaries of what an IDE can do by combining instant system visualization with "Veo-real" simulation.

We integrated Nano Banana, a specialized visualization module.
- From Code to Blueprint: It instantly translates your abstract Grafcet logic into a realistic visual representation of the industrial system.
- Visual Grounding: It provides immediate visual context, generating an image of the "Plant" (conveyors, arms, tanks) that matches your code, ensuring you and the AI are building for the same physical reality before you even hit simulate.
🎥 Veo 3: Code-to-Reality™
This is our "one more thing." We integrated Veo 3 (Google's generative video model) to create the world's first Generative Digital Twin.
- From Code to Cinema: You don't just compile code; you manifest functionality. When you write logic for a sorting arm, Veo 3 instantly generates a physics-accurate video simulation of that arm in action.
- Visual Proof: It turns abstract logic into concrete visual verification. You see the conveyor move, the sensors trigger, and the emergency stop engage—all generated in real-time from your code. It's not just simulation; it's a glimpse into the physical reality you are building.
The Frontiers We Crossed
We didn't just build an app; we had to tame the raw power of Generative AI for the unforgiving world of industrial machines.
- Teaching Gemini 3 a "Foreign Language": We didn't use standard Python or C++. We defined GrafScript, our own custom DSL for industrial automation. The challenge? Gemini 3 had never seen it before. Yet, with just a few architectural prompts, it mastered the syntax instantly. It didn't just copy; it reasoned in GrafScript, proving that Gemini 3 doesn't just predict tokens—it understands novel logic structures on the fly.
- The "Hallucination" Trap vs. Zero-Tolerance Safety: In creative coding, a bug is annoying. In industrial automation, a bug is dangerous. We used Gemini 3’s Thinking Process as a "Virtual Safety Engineer"—forcing the model to reason through IEC 61131-3 safety checks before it was allowed to execute a single command.
- The Turing Test for Physics (Veo 3): Our boldest challenge was asking Veo 3 to generate a video of the real system based solely on our code. We weren't asking for a generic animation; we asked for a physics-accurate digital twin. And it delivered. Veo 3 understood that if the code says "Conveyor A stops," the video must show the box stopping with inertia. It proved that Veo 3 effectively "simulates" reality, bridging the gap between abstract code and physical truth.
- The "Permeable" Canvas: Building a professional Grafcet editor is hard; making it AI-accessible is harder. We built a specialized API that lets Agents "see" and "touch" the canvas, turning a static tool into a dynamic, shared workspace. Gemini 3 doesn't just write text here; it acts—moving blocks and wiring logic in real-time.
