Inspiration: ## Inspiration: I have a hard time finding movies/shows or songs that actually fit best in the moment and genres do help connect that moment but I wanted to change the availability genre into a more specific way of choosing your entertainment option, therefore I came up with VibeSync. A place where there are mood options that go along with the songs and shows/movies. VibeSync was not only inspired by my thought of bringing in moods, I used to have MRI appointments where I would need to pick a movie or shows that I would want to watch but I could never find or locate what I wanted to watch in that mood because I was rather nervous or bored. Those moment of life helped me innovate VibeSync, and instead of telling the doctor that what I wanted to watch I could use this app to find the movie or show that would go with my mood while enhancing my entertainment experience. The journal would help one relocate their emotions whenever VibeSync is used.

What it does: This app helps you find show, song, or movie recommendations based on your current mood! You can also keep a personal journal of your experiences and how they made you feel.

How we built it: I built it via JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. The process was initiated by my inspiration and the ways I researched how entertainment could be correlated with mood and not just genres. Along with that an in-built place to note down how emotions were experienced after the recommendation is basically a small mood journal.

Challenges we ran into: The buttons were having a problem in the code where the buttons were not being pressed but due to troubleshooting the interactive code of JavaScript it eventually got fixed.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: I am proud of the color scheme, I believe that is one the most important things when it comes to entertainment apps and as the app has a relation to mood, the GUI should be at least appealing for the audience.

What we learned: I learnt how attributes and selectors play a major role in coding, I am a beginner and my research process started the day when the theme was announced. It took me a bit of time to grasp the concepts of CSS and JS. But due to YouTube, I was able to learn fundamentals that helped me make VibeSync. Attribute and selectors applied specific background colors to buttons based on their data-mood attribute, making them colorful which played a role in enhancing the GUI!

What's next for VibeSync: Future goals for VibeSync is for it to have mood charts or graphs keeping a track of how mood changes per recommendation. This is really helpful to keep a track of your mental health as it keeps a record of how your mindset changes, and according to reviews in the journal it can reflect on a broader scale for entertainment. For example, podcasts or books.
