Inspiration

Millions of people use wearables and fitness apps every day to track workouts, calories burned, sleep, heart rate, and daily activity.

But after training, most people still rely on guesswork when it comes to recovery and nutrition.

That disconnect became the inspiration behind FeedCal.

We realized that while fitness tracking has become incredibly advanced, recovery decisions are still largely unoptimized. People train hard, but often recover poorly because they do not truly understand what their body needs after physical activity.

We wanted to build a system that closes that gap.

What it does

FeedCal is a recovery intelligence platform that transforms workout and wearable data into personalized recovery-focused nutrition guidance.

The platform analyzes workout-related activity and recovery indicators to help users make smarter post-workout nutrition decisions.

Instead of simply tracking fitness data, FeedCal focuses on helping users understand:

  • how well they are recovering
  • what their body may need nutritionally
  • and how to improve recovery consistency over time

Our goal is to make recovery more understandable, actionable, and personalized.

How we built it

We used MeDo to rapidly brainstorm, structure, and build the application experience through natural language conversations and iterative workflows.

One of the most impressive aspects of using MeDo was how quickly ideas could evolve into functional UI structures, workflows, and application logic.

The development process focused on:

  • designing a clean recovery dashboard
  • structuring recovery intelligence flows
  • creating personalized recommendation experiences
  • simplifying complex fitness data into understandable insights

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges was simplifying health and recovery insights into something users could easily understand without overwhelming them with technical data.

Another challenge was balancing personalization with simplicity. We wanted the experience to feel intelligent and adaptive while still remaining clean and accessible for everyday users.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of building a functional early version of FeedCal that demonstrates how wearable and workout data can be transformed into meaningful recovery guidance.

We are also proud of creating a product experience that feels practical, modern, and easy to understand while tackling a real-world problem in fitness and recovery,

We are also proud of reaching our first 20 users organically in our first launch week. They're currently using it and so far it's been good useful feedback we believe we can use to make the next version better.

What we learned

This project reinforced how important recovery is in fitness and how disconnected workout tracking and nutrition guidance still are today.

We also learned how powerful rapid AI-assisted development workflows can be for transforming ideas into usable products much faster than traditional approaches.

What's next for FeedCal

Our next goal is to expand FeedCal’s recovery intelligence capabilities, improve personalization, integrate more wearable ecosystems, and continue refining the user experience.

We believe the future of fitness is not just tracking effort — but intelligently optimizing recovery.
