Lifemap is a travel productivity web app powered by Gemini 3 (model: gemini-3-pro). It integrates Gemini in four core user flows: 1) Memory description generation: given title, location, and date, Gemini produces warm, concise narratives that reduce the barrier to journaling. 2) Journey summary: for a selected time range, Gemini creates a shareable overview of key moments to archive or post. 3) Place info completion: one‑line introductions and thematic tags for locations improve readability and searchability. 4) Photo captions: short, travel‑tone captions that upgrade media presentation at scale. The AI features are central to the product: they plug into add‑memory, timeline review, map playback, and image export, forming a loop from recording to storytelling to sharing. The frontend supports an OpenAI‑compatible custom endpoint (Base URL, API Key, Model) and a secure Supabase Edge Function proxy to call Gemini 3. The app also offers bilingual content editing (Chinese/English) and auto map label language by country for better international usability. Together, Gemini 3 turns fragmented travel data into compelling narratives and shareable artifacts, directly improving user outcomes for journaling, recollection, and social sharing.
