VibeCheck uses a customized API to organize different users and their diary entries. Using MongoDB, we are able to the use the API to curate user entries, forums, comments, and securely provide authentication. The API is hosted on a Google Cloud Compute Engine using Express JS. Google Cloud (Natural Language API) is also used by our API to categorize user diary entries to curate individualized mental health tips depending on user input.
