Inspiration

I built Vibe Typing Wizard for my younger brother. He’s always been fascinated with typing but never had something fun or engaging to actually practice with. I wanted to create something that felt chill, satisfying, and inviting—something that would make him want to type, not feel like he had to. That intention is what gave this project its “vibe.”

What it does

Vibe Typing Wizard is a simple, browser-based typing game that generates random word sequences for users to type. It tracks typing speed (WPM), accuracy, and shows real-time visual feedback with color-coded highlights. The interface is clean and responsive, designed to help anyone improve their typing while enjoying the flow.

How I built it

I built the project using Lovable AI’s no-code tools for layout and deployment. For the typing logic and interaction ideas, I used a mix of Claude AI and ChatGPT to help with coding suggestions, content flow, and feature planning. It was a hybrid build—part DIY, part co-pilot AI—and it came together faster and cleaner than I expected.

Challenges I ran into

Making sure the typing experience felt responsive and natural, especially when handling backspace and typos. Designing feedback that was helpful but not overwhelming for users. Keeping the game smooth and bug-free across different screen sizes and devices.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Seeing my brother actually enjoy using it and asking to play it again. Building a fully functional and aesthetic app using mostly AI support and no-code tools. Creating something real and useful out of a simple idea.

What I learned

How to blend no-code platforms with AI assistance to build faster. That sometimes the best motivation for building something comes from someone you care about. Simplicity and clarity in UI goes a long way—especially for younger users.

What's next for Vibe Typing

Adding difficulty levels to help users grow: Beginner (slow, short words), Intermediate, and Advanced (longer phrases, less time). Including fun typing challenges like “Fix the Sentence” or “Catch the Typos” to mix it up. Possibly creating a user profile system to track progress and unlock new challenges.
