Inspiration

As someone who follows the indie hacker , I noticed a recurring issue: even talented entrepreneurs who’ve built incredible, revenue-generating products are often hesitant to launch on platforms like Product Hunt. They chase perfection, build an audience for months or even years, and only launch when they think they can clinch the top spot.

But what about vibecoders? Those of us riding this wave building amazing products but still unsure where or how to launch? I personally had multiple apps sitting on my machine, never shared, and that felt like a loss.

That’s when this idea born ,so I needed to build something for our community. A launchpad where we could just launch first, get our first user, and then iterate and improve.

What it does

Vibelaunch is a community-driven launchpad for “Vibe Coders” building withvibe coding tools like Bolt, Cursor, and Windsurf.

The platform lets makers:

Launch their app publicly in minutes , no approvals or perfectionism required.
Get their first users, feedback, and upvotes from a like-minded developer community.
Discover other products launched by fellow builders and explore what others are shipping.
Create a personal profile to showcase their launched apps and contributions.

it is like Product Hunt, but built specifically for the vibe coders.

Instead of waiting for a "perfect launch day," Vibelaunch empowers builders to launch right now, get real feedback, and grow through iteration.

How i built it

Once after i fixed this idea. I used ChatGPT, for brainstorming my idea, and refined it into a clear product vision and PRD. From there:

I spent somedays to gather Ui screens and some designs which i can recreate.

then, I used Bolt.new to generate my entire frontend in Vite + React.

Once the frontend dev is finished, I integrated Supabase for the backend: authentication, databases, and real-time interactions.

I used bolt to design relational schemas to connect products, users, upvotes, and profiles.

When I hit 80-90% completion, I deployed to Netlify under a custom domain: vibelaunch.site

Challenges we ran into

To be honest, I didn’t faced any technical challenges.. as i know some level of prompting and most importantly everything is easy to integrate and work on with bolt. so i didnt face much challenges , But I did experience burnout in the middle.

but the community. Comments from fellow builders. and above all, the energy of Eric and the Bolt team on X , constantly cheering everyone on.

Building Vibelaunch was more than a hackathon project. It was a helpful in my journey ,opening my mind that with the right tools and mindset, even a non-dev can build something that matters.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Shipped a full product in days: From idea to fully working launchpad with authentication, database, upvoting, commenting, and user profiles all done within the hackathon window. i never know i can do this..

Built real value for a real community: Vibelaunch solves a real problem for builders who feel stuck before their first launch. It’s already resonating with early users. and hundereds of people are visiting the site and gradually growing.

Got 10 Users in 2 days: after launching more builders are interested in this and launched their product. it feels great that something i build is being used by people..and i hope this still grows..

What i learned

Building with Bolt is easy and really helpful: Coming from a non-tech background, I realized prompting + clear thinking is enough to build great product today.

I learned so much about tech stack, framework , how apps works, db,security etc.

I also learned how Supabase handles authentication, real-time updates, and database relationships and so much more technicalities.

What's next for Vibe Launch

I have so much plan to make this as #1 community for vibe coders. My man KP gave me appreciation as "good idea", been thinking this for while. Thats really motivated me and im going to make this huge..Some plans i have are below.

Achievements as sharable cards: Milestone badges (like "10 upvotes") will be shareable social cards to celebrate launches.

Trending + Weekly Leaderboards: Highlight the most-loved products daily and weekly to boost visibility.

Template + Prompt Library: Help makers launch even faster by sharing prompts, designs, and copy inspiration. (rn working on, maybe launched while you guys read this..)

Community forum: Build in ways for makers to follow, comment, and collaborate on products they love.

Long-term vision: Become the go-to place for vibecoders to learn, share and launch..
