How we built it

Challenges we ran intoWe are digitally closer than ever but completely isolated from the people living 50 meters down the hall. When you need immediate help—like borrowing a specific laptop charger, getting a car jumpstart, or needing a tough math concept explained right before an exam—spamming chaotic group chats is highly inefficient. We built Vibe to make physical proximity valuable again, turning isolated school campuses and apartment complexes into self-sustaining, cooperative ecosystems.

🛠️ How We Built It To ensure the app remains lightning-fast and functional even on spotty network connections, we developed Vibe around a resilient, local-first architecture:

Frontend: React Native for a responsive, modern mobile interface.

Backend: A clean Laravel API layer to handle real-time request matching and core transaction logic.

Storage: Local client-side data persistence that syncs with a centralized database when online.
