Inspiration
Mainly was watching chill games with social aspects like stardew valley and maplestory. I wanted to try to learn pygame at the same time.
What it does
It creates a game server which allows clients to connect using websockets.
How we built it
Entirely out of kiro and minor debugging. I should have added sprites and came up with a more specific prompt on how I wanted kiro to display the different game aspects.
Challenges we ran into
Difficulty mainly came in understanding how to make effective prompts and utilise the different features of kiro
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Made an app that works without understanding pygame.
What we learned
Mainly learning more about pygame while vibe coding with kiro and understanding some MCP prompts by feeding pygame documenation website to kiro
What's next for vibe-fishing
Implementing sprites and better physics with a more flowly movement.
Built With
- kiro
- pygame
