Vibe Chording

Inspiration

This is a vibe coding hackathon. So, we decided to play on the words to create the theme of 'Vibe Chording'. The ideas flowed after we thought of the idea name.

What it does

This app takes in user response as to what type of app the user wants to code out(e.g the user want the app to code out a fitness app). Then the app prompts the user to input what song they think matches the vibe of the app. After gathering this response, the app prompts the user to sing that song that that user thinks matches the vibe of the app. The app then rates the users singing by comparing it with the actual artist singing that song. The better the singing, the better quality of the app.

How we built it

We built it using Codex.

Challenges we ran into

We were struggling with coming up with the idea at first, because our individual ideas had similar grounds, but we had to compile all of it together into one, which was a challenge to collate.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

After we thought of an idea, everyone came together to build on it, which shows how powerful teamwork is(Teamwork makes the dream work!), and it was a memorable bonding experience.

What we learned

Start with the base idea, and build on from it. The groundwork is more important that the details. We also learned how to work as a team, and build on each other's ideas.
