Inspiration
With all of us coming from big high schools, we understand how difficult it is to make friends when you first enter and that makes it even harder to find people to sit with during lunch. During lunch time, we all noticed that everyone sat in cliques at lunch tables and it was hard to find a table to sit at when you are new to the school or have no one in your lunch period to sit with. Therefore, we decided an app that is a virtual community for students to interact and find people to sit with will help foster a greater, more genuine bond among students in the school.
What it does
Vibe is an iOS app that helps you find friends to eat with at school during their designated lunch period.
How we built it
We built Vibe using Swift & Xcode, along with Adobe Photoshop.
Challenges we ran into
Challenges we ran into include coding the app in Swift and getting the interactions between the screens.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of finding a group that has different strengths (UI/UX design, Swift, Presentation etc.) and utilizing all our strengths to the best of our ability.
What we learned
We learned how to code and utilize UX design to the user while also learning soft skills such as effective communication among a group.
What's next for Vibe
Next, we want to make Vibe available for android users also so that the app is accessible to everyone.
