Inspiration
Vivirion is a company that's all about connecting healthcare providers with healthcare seekers. What we noticed on their website was that it lacked much focus on mental health, which is a growing problem in today's Canadian society. So, we decided to start filling that gap by creating an extension for their already existing website.
What it does
Vi-Well is a two in one package. It comes with Vi-Check, an AI powered assessment tool that can offer advice for people struggling with mental health, and Vi-Help, a space with resources where users can connect with mental health professionals based off their insights from Vi-Check.
How we built it
This project was a heavy blend between AI prompt engineering, Google's Antigravity IDE, and human programming.
Challenges we ran into
One of the biggest challenges we faced was all of us running out of Claude Opus credits for Antigravity. Being high school students, we only had a limited number of credits we could use, and once we ran out, we had to find other tools that could help us polish our site.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Getting a functional extension for the Vivirion website working and mostly matching the style of the company website.
What we learned
Mental health is a complex issue to tackle, but recover often starts by first identifying there is a problem, and searching for help. That is what we learned and channel through Vi-Well. We also learned how to do some frontend and backend programming by rummaging through and debugging the code that was made with the help of Antigravity.
What's next for VI - Well
We hope that Vi-Well will help Vivirion not only grow, but thrive. As the website grows, we hope to expand the capabilities of the AI assessment and maybe even integrated more with Vi-Help to match users to professionals even faster.
