Planning VFR cross country flights can be extremely tedious, requiring fuel calculations, careful waypoint selection, climb and descent calculations, compensation for wind and magnetic deviation, and a variety of airplane characteristics.
How it works
This application selects customizable waypoints, plans climbs and descents, maps a route, and automatically finds local METAR and winds aloft data.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Customizable waypoints provides a significant amount of flexibility in trip planning. Furthermore, automatic magnetic deviation and wind compensation eradicates the need for complex E-6B calculations.
