Shopping for fashion online often feels frustrating — users see outfits they like on social media or in real life but struggle to find or customize them easily. We wanted to bridge the gap between inspiration and access by creating a smart platform that instantly identifies outfits and helps users find or customize them without endless searching. What it does VFashionX is an AI-powered fashion discovery and customization platform. Users simply upload an outfit image or sketch, and the system: Detects the outfit using fashion terminology Classifies the outfit type (casual, formal, party wear, etc.) Suggests suitable occasions to wear it Searches across online platforms and provides matching purchase links Enables customization options for unique or personalized outfits It saves time and turns fashion inspiration into instantly accessible options. How we built it We built VFashionX using AI-based image recognition combined with fashion classification models and web search integration. The system processes uploaded images, extracts outfit details, and matches them with similar products available across online platforms. A user-friendly interface ensures smooth uploading, search results, and customization suggestions.
