Round table discussion between all team members lead to our idea.
What it does
Connecting veterans directly to employers. Reducing registration barriers for our veterans. An easy way for employers to find veterans based on a few simple features.
How we built it
Discussed ideas of what vets would need or want. Our team vets provided excellent feed back in this regard. Whited boarded out the basic layout with responsibilities and kept in constant communication about where our project stood. And lastly taking the time to quality check our work prior to release.

The aspect of narrowing our focus pointed us towards a truly useful idea of an extremely simple to use user interface.
What we learned
Responsive user interface, Geo location, Sms messaging, Twilio and utilizing each others skill to the full effect.
What's next for VetConnect
Getting the word out to get all vets and letting the know about our key feature “simplicity.”
