Inspiration

At the core of our inspiration, is a sprawling metaverse. We’re inspired and driven by the social interactions that occur in and around our digital lives. Today however, all these on-chain and social events are fragmented across different Web 2.0/3.0 solutions. Within this scope, we’re highly motivated to understand this network of events in order to experiment with the concept of identity within the metaverse.

What it does

Verze seeks to bring together different interactions/events in the metaverse into a singular narrative. We see this sum of parts as the starting point for identity within the metaverse. This identity manifests itself as:

  • A Verze Passport which aggregates this data;
  • A free and open API for platforms within the ecosystem to access enriched data per wallet; Name, Avatar, Cover, etc. This allows sites such as Raydium, Magic Eden, etc. to use identities instead of wallet addresses (coming soon).
  • A feed on the Verze site where logged-in users can add their friends (via wallet address) to see what their friends are up to and ultimately bring people closer together.

How we built it

We built the platform using a mix of Laravel, React and Solana libraries. The stack will grow as we move into cross-chain solutions as well as the release of the public API itself.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • Having a functional platform for Passport Holders to add their friends;
  • Viewing your friend’s recent assets in the metaverse (NFTs).
  • Having a solid and stable platform to scale from.

What's next for Verze

  • Cross-chain NFT data capture (allowing multiple wallets across different chains, i.e. Ethereum & Ronin)
  • Utility NFT to provide holders with additional features on the Verze website
  • Passport Adapter, extension for Solana's Wallet Adapter.
