I have personally been really struggling with this one class because I have so many other external priorities that I can never stay on top of my work. Our hope to build this project was to stay ahead of schedule and to remind us to stay on track for classes

What it does

Help students to get Just In Time knowledge, to learn at their pace, using the official resources they have from their courses. Our project helps to evaluate a student's performance in a particular course that is given and helps them achieve the grade they want by notifying them to study, create similar practice problems to their material, and help achieve their goals.

How we built it

With the use of LlamaIndex and MongoDB Vector Store.

Challenges we ran into

Understanding the abstract part of LlamaIndex and its usage.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Understanding those tools pretty well and producing something (not much, but still)

What we learned

A lot about genAI, LLMs and vector storing!!

What's next for VeryCurious

We hope to also utilize the use of together.ai or other llm platforms to better train our model and compare materials. Furthermore we hope to have additional evaluation metrics to allow the user to have better structured practice questions, materials, and an overall structured plan for each course.
