Inspiration

We are team of individuals enthusiastic about being responsible and focused towards the benefit of the environment ad have kept that aim in mind in activities and competitions. Through Google Vertex we now got an opportunity to put forward that responsibility by make a chatbot that caters to information on eco-friendly products that individuals can know, be aware and buy. We plan to update this chatbot frequently with latest data in the field of eco friendly products and try using it in our competitions or any website we host.

What it does

The Chatbot answers queries related to Eco Friendly Products. Such as What are Eco friendly Products? and then it is curated for 12 different eco friendly products to query about the current eco friendly products out there including Eco Friendly products for Cleaning, Bathroom, Personal Care, Pets, Home Décor, Kitchen, Fashion Products, Office, Gardening, Baby Products, Travel, Other Lifestyle Items

How we built it

We created our account on Google Cloud Console and made an app on Vertex AI Agent Builder. We created a cloud storage bucket for our data for training the chatbot and uploaded the training files that contained the query and response information. We imported the training files into the app to create a data store and fine tuned the model.

Challenges we ran into

Initial challenges were adapting to learning the environment of Google Cloud Console and navigating on Vertex AI Agent Builder , we tackled that with helpful videos and documentation. Few initial models trained were not giving goods or satisfactory outputs and we realised our mistakes being made in the training input, experimenting with the input and fine tuning the model.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we are able to build a fully functional well answering chatbot that can reply to user queries and answer user queries regarding our intended aim of creating a chatbot for eco friendly products

What we learned

We predominantly learned Vertex AI Agent Builder itself - complex, vast, precise, fast, interesting. It opened the doors to creativity and understanding new concepts in training and understanding models in this field. We also learned about the current products in the market that are eco friendly and how me have to be responsible citizens towards the environment and invest in eco friendly products for the benefit of the environment.

What's next for Vertex Ai

We want to further go into the depths of Vertex Ai and understand its nitty gritty and delve into the inner workings of training vast, precise and accurate models to be able to serve platforms, company and people responsibly.
