Veritas AI - Fake news detector

Inspiration

We daily read about different news but sometimes it is hard to know if the news is true or false.

What it does

This project takes news or information as an input and uses Gemini AI to know if news is true or false.

How we built it

We use antigravity to build the basic website and then edit it to fit our need.

Challenges we ran into

• First we thought to create our own ai model to but we find out it is not feasible.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We build a working website that can tell if a news is true or false.

What we learned

We learned how to connect Gemini AI to our website using api and usie antigravity to help us create projects.

What's next for Veritas AI - Fake news detector

We are planing to make an extension of this website which can tell if the information on a website is correct or not. We are also thinking of adding feature to add images as an attachment while giving the prompt.
