Many students fall for fake internships and job postings online, wasting time and personal info. I wanted to create a tool to help students spot scams and focus on real opportunities.
What it does
VerifyMe checks job and internship postings, rates them for trustworthiness, and gives students a clear score so they can apply safely.
How we built it
We designed a concept platform with a scoring system, key features like scam detection and user alerts, and a simple MVP plan. The goal was clarity, usability, and easy implementation.
Challenges we ran into
Deciding which criteria accurately flag fake postings without making the system too complicated was tricky. Ensuring the idea is simple but reliable was a key challenge.
