Inspiration
agriculture is of a paramount importance to ensure that people are well fed and any change affecting agricultural products can have devestating consequences. It's why we had to look for solutions to preserve the agrucultural sector intact from any factor that could affect it especially diseases.
What it does
Our product uses AI and pi camera to assist greenhouse owners by alerting them once sickness symptoms are detected thus preventing contagious disease spread
How we built it
we built an ai model using python. We used open cv.
Challenges we ran into
We faced several problems. The first challenge was to come up with an idea that could stand out from others. After that, bringing it to life was much harder.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
First, we had the opportunity to enhance our innovative capabilities. Furthermore this event was a chance to improve our soft skills by engaging with like-minded people.
What's next for VerdantVision
-Using Ai to recognize different objects. -A moving camera to cover a larger area.
- Using IOT for phone display.
