💡 Why We Built This

People talk to Alexa and Siri all the time, but shopping online still means clicking and typing. We wanted to fix that. Imagine helping someone cook dinner while ordering groceries or helping people who can't see screens shop easily.

🛍️ What VerbaShop Does

Talk to shop - it's that simple:

Say "I need running shoes" and get suggestions Ask "What's good for a birthday gift?" and get personalized ideas Complete your entire purchase just by talking Works for everyone, especially people who find regular websites hard to use

🔧 How We Built It

We used modern web tools to make it work:

React + TypeScript for the website Supabase for storing user data and products Gemini AI to understand what we want and make suggestions TailwindCSS for clean, responsive design Bolt for rapid development and prototyping Netlify for hosting and deployment

🚧 Problems We Solved

Making the app understand different accents and voices Keeping track of what you're talking about during long conversations Making sure voice payments are secure (you have to confirm before buying) Making it work fast - nobody wants to wait 10 seconds for a response Making it work on phones and on computers

94% accuracy - it understands what you say almost perfectly Works great for people with vision problems Payments are secure - you always confirm before buying Feels like talking to a helpful friend, not a robot Responds in under 2 seconds

📚 What We Learned

Voice apps are totally different from regular apps People want the app to remember what they just said Making things accessible helps everyone Speed matters more with voice than with clicking People need to trust voice payments before they'll use them
