Inspiration

Seeing my parents back home in Asia frequently struggle with fake news on social media, which to many seniors and vulnerable populations remains the #1 source of news and information whilst remaining heavily unregulated/full of fake forwarded messages and media.

What it does

Allows users to submit individual messages and media to be analyzed by our platform and other users, and to collaboratively review and vote on specific forwarded messages and media to crowdsource verification.

How you built

Our program is built as a React Web App using Firebase as an underlying database to sync user-inputted data on the cloud.
