Inspiration

Many individuals suffer to start a career in IT industry and majority of people who are living in rural areas doesn't even have an awareness on what do software engineer do on a daily basis but feel hyped when any of their friends or relatives work in an IT industry and some who have done their graduation from a non IT background and suffering to find a growth in their career with tiny amount of salaries and unable to bear a family needs.
Can't they succeed if they Try?

The simple answer is YES, But how?
From over thousands of Online learning platforms provides tons of courses to choose from but a person from a non-IT background or a rural individual or a person who wants to start an IT career doesn't even know what a programming language is all about. Then, how one can choose from the huge world of online learning sites. And that's not it when these kind of people trying to learn they don't find anyone to teach them through their mistakes and guide them through their doubts over the learning process.

Then what's the solution?
After understanding all the suffer and pain these individuals go through when starting something better in their life and to maintain a social security around the society they live in. We tried to make it more simpler than anything. Starting a IT career has became easier with VEnrichU.

And hence, finding a resource to start becomes a hectic process which is not only time consuming but also frustrating and may result in quitting to learn.

So, We are here with VPlaceU VPlaceU provides all the available jobs just by a click showing all the jobs sourced on 5 different job hosting sites. So, you can do a single search across various sitesat a time and find yourself a better career.

How we built it

  • VEnrichU is completely built on Pega 8.7.3 Community edition to ensure that it has every possibility of work to be done and has no limits.
  • We ensure stability by following a steady development life-cycle throughout the creation of VEnrichU. Unit testing helped us achieve a stable development life-cycle with a 100% guardrail compliance score.
  • The best way to ensure fault tolerance is not to have a Single Point of Failure. So, we ensured to have a backup application package if anything goes sideways with our current ones.
  • A working beta version has been released and tested by developers and users who made sure everything's intact and working as intended.
  • Finally, By maintaining proper principles, we ensured that our application will be production-ready within the deadline.

Challenges we ran into

  1. Adding App factory components from Pega marketplace to embed chatbot on to the user portal.
  2. Providing Responsive UI to make it work on any devices.
  3. Providing an ambient experience through making the UI much more colorful and interesting to the users.
  4. Finding a payment gateway to provide Patreon Membership to the users.
  5. Building a website and integrating pega through Mashups.
  6. Developing a precise decision rules for the survey to provide error free results.
  7. Developing a chatbot which doesn't need any backend team to resolve and provides utmost comfort to the users who are facing trouble or in need for something.
  8. Dynamic operator creation using Google single sign-on(SSO).
  9. Maintaining the guardrail compliance score.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  1. Built a website which will be useful to millions of individuals who are trying to start an IT career.
  2. Providing Customer support through emails and chatbot.
  3. Building an UI which is colorful, informative, responsive and interesting at the same time.
  4. Creating a website integrated with pega mashups.
  5. Turing my idea into a Production ready website.
  6. Learning advanced concepts as a CSA student.
  7. As a CSA student working on advanced topics like mashups, chat bots, responsive UI's on my own through Pega community, academy and support center.
  8. My First full-stack Project on pega.
  9. Solo Project based on present scenario and implementing it by learning and clarifying doubts in development using Pega resources has given me a better scope of understanding and a deep dive into Pega's Low code development technology.

What we learned

  1. Using mashups to integrate pega with third party websites.
  2. Removing null and duplicates values at a time from a pagelist using default methods in a datatransfrom.
  3. Usage of skin, mixin rules, containers formats to build an ambient UI.
  4. Creating a payment gateway to receive payments.
  5. Creation of Lisa, Chatbot of VEnrichU.
  6. Populating a Repeating dynamic layouts referring a report definition through a datapage.
  7. Container, Dynamic layouts formatting.
  8. Google single sign-on (SSO) integration with pega (In App Studio).
  9. Unit Testing of rules.

What's next for VEnrichU Together

  1. Any number of Businesses(related to Educational, Online-Learning, etc.,) can collaborate with VEnrichU to accelerate their number of users by featuring them on our site. Which directly impact Businesses to grow and provide much more better content due to it's success. VEnrichU Together - It's Either a Business or an Individual. We are here to HELP you GROW .
  2. Anyone can become a Mentor by providing valid educational documents and information in order to serve a majority of individuals.
  3. Daily upscaling of courses according to the hype in the industry and much more availability of course resources based on user previous learning experience.
  4. Even though our website is Responsive to any size of screen either is it a Laptop, Tab or a Mobile. But, Having a mobile application listed on App store and Google Play store is much more important for getting a better reach and help as many as we can. So, a mobile application will launch as soon as possible.
