Venomous Vortex was sparked by the need to raise awareness about venomous and poisonous organisms, which pose significant global health risks. The platform seeks to empower users with accessible, life-saving knowledge and tools to handle toxin-related emergencies effectively.

What it does

Venomous Vortex is a comprehensive toxin education platform featuring real-time global surveillance of venomous and poisonous organisms, AI-driven emergency assistance, and interactive learning through games, trivia, and community engagement. Key components include the Toxin Clash Arena for comparing venomous vs. poisonous creatures, Toxin Realms for exploring land and water threats, and the Toxin Savior AI chatbot offering emergency guidance with high accuracy. Additional features include a video hub, global incident map, gamified trivia, and a community connecting thousands worldwide.

How I built it

The platform integrates AI technologies like Dappier-powered real-time search and multilingual support for 50+ languages. Interactive games and maps use modern web frameworks, while the Toxin Savior AI employs machine learning for organism identification and emergency protocols. The admin dashboard streamlines content and user management.

Challenges I ran into

Challenges included ensuring AI accuracy across diverse scenarios, integrating real-time incident data, and balancing engaging game design with educational content while maintaining multilingual performance.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I’m proud of creating a scalable platform prototype that seamlessly integrates AI, education, and community features. Successfully implementing multilingual support and engaging interactive elements like the Toxin Trivia Arena, with the potential to reach global audiences, marks significant progress.
