Inspiration Millions of freelancers and creators sell through DMs and spreadsheets because setting up real online payments feels like a developer project. In many countries Stripe doesn't even operate — but PayPal does. I wanted anyone to go from "I sell X" to a working payment page in under a minute.

What it does Vendora Pay AI turns a chat message into a complete PayPal storefront. Describe what you sell, and NVIDIA Nemotron AI (via Nebius) generates your page — title, pricing, FAQs, theme. Buyers pay through real PayPal sandbox checkout, ask the AI support bot questions, or haggle with your agentic salesperson which negotiates only inside YOUR price bounds and never charges without your confirmation. The dashboard tracks orders, invoices, subscriptions, coupons, and analytics.

How I built it Full-stack TypeScript: Vite + React + Tailwind frontend, Express backend, PayPal REST (Orders v2, Invoicing v2, Subscriptions, Webhooks), Nebius AI for page generation and agent reasoning, Supabase Postgres for durable persistence, deployed on Render. The agent uses a dual-brain architecture — real LLM reasoning with honest rule-based fallback, every step visible in the console.

Challenges The PayPal approval flow was the hardest — the Orders API returns an approval URL that must be opened before capture, which I initially skipped. The agent's LLM calls kept timing out at 300 tokens (reasoning models need room to think). Qloo-style API debugging taught me to read organizer docs before assuming breakage.

What's next Voice-to-storefront, multi-currency payouts, and AI payment reminders are on the roadmap.
