Restaurant operators deal with operational problems every day that are difficult to monitor in real time. Suspicious paidouts, inventory pressure, emergency purchases, and inconsistent operational controls can quietly reduce profitability without being detected early enough.

Vendora AI Restaurant Auditor was built to help restaurant operators identify operational risk before it turns into financial loss. Instead of creating another AI chatbot, the goal was to build an operational intelligence system capable of analyzing restaurant activity, identifying suspicious behavior, investigating anomalies, and generating actionable operational findings.

The project focuses on helping operators move from reactive management to proactive operational intelligence.

What it does

Vendora AI Restaurant Auditor is an AI-powered operational intelligence platform for restaurants.

The frontend was designed to resemble a production-style enterprise SaaS operations platform focused on operational visibility and AI-driven investigations.


Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges was designing the platform to feel like a true operational intelligence system instead of a simple AI wrapper.

A large amount of effort went into:

  • operational dashboard hierarchy
  • risk visualization
  • enterprise-style UX refinement
  • investigation workflows
  • MongoDB persistence integration

Another challenge was balancing technical depth with usability so the platform remained operationally focused while still being intuitive and visually clean.
