That’s why we built Vendo, a lightweight, cross-platform mobile app designed to track vendor and merchandiser performance with precision and efficiency. Built using React Native, Firebase, and the Google Maps Directions API, Vendo uses scheduled geofence checks, a smarter way to verify whether a vendor was at the right place, at the right time, without constant tracking or unnecessary data collection. How It Works

A vendor opens their pre-assigned route, taps “Start Monitoring,” and begins their day. Using Google Maps, Vendo dynamically calculates ETAs and wraps each stop in a custom buffer zone. After a vendor completes a stop, a deferred location check is triggered, confirming presence within the expected buffer zone at the scheduled time. If the stop was missed or late, the system sends a notification to managers. All visit data is stored securely in Firebase, ready for reporting or auditing. As the route progresses, vendors simply tap “Continue Route” to repeat the process, ensuring a streamlined experience and comprehensive activity log. Impact & Real-World Value
