What is Ven Review? Ven Review is a mobile app built for tradespeople and small business owners who do great work but struggle to get Google reviews. It lets you send a professional, AI-generated review request to your customer in seconds — via WhatsApp, iMessage, or email — right after every job. In any language. All reviews tracked in one place. What Inspired It I work closely with contractors and tradespeople. The pattern was always the same — great work, happy customer, zero reviews. Not because the customer didn't want to leave one, but because no one asked them the right way at the right time. Ven Review fixes that. How I Built It Built as an indie developer under Redvanta Software Ltd using: SwiftUI for the iOS app Supabase for the backend and database RevenueCat for in-app subscription management Stripe for web payments Claude AI for generating personalised, professional review request messages in any language What I Learned Shipping to a niche market requires deep understanding of the customer's daily workflow. Tradespeople don't want complex software — they want something that works in 30 seconds on a job site. Every design decision was made around that constraint.
